Surprise Vow Renewal . Missy Marie Photography . Hermosa Beach photographer

I am so excited to write this post.  I was asked to photograph a vow renewal a couple of months ago, by Stephanie (who happens to be the most awesome writer and founder behind Veegmama, which is her blog celebrating her vegan lifestyle). This beautiful gal was planning to surprise her husband with a celebration to renew their wedding vows on their 15th wedding anniversary. She invited close family and friends, planned a beautifully catered dinner, and even wore her wedding dress (which she was so proud to say that it was even a little big). Her plan went off without a hitch, and if you can’t tell by his expression, he.was.surprised! Their rabbi preformed the ceremony with the chuppah held by her family around them. As this was their 15th wedding anniversary, Dave had already purchased a gift for her that happened to be the perfect thing to place right on her finger during the ceremony ~ a surprise diamond eternity band! It’s almost as if he had planned that! You can actually see the love here, enjoy the photos.
