The holidays are coming faster than you think.

If you’re a family in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, or Redondo Beach, you probably have “get updated family photos” on a list that’s been sitting there since last December.

Picture it: next December, your holiday card is out, and instead of a blurry phone pic from Thanksgiving, you have a beautiful photo of your family exactly as they are right now — this age, this stage, this version of your kids you’ll never get back.

That’s what today was about. Watch me working with this incredible family on the sand ~ real laughs, zero forced “say cheese” energy.

For 17 years, I’ve been photographing families right here in the South Bay, and this time of year is still my favorite.

📍 “My kids won’t cooperate” — my sessions are built around real families, not stiff posing. The magic happens in between the “perfect” shots.

📍 “We’ll do it next year” — that’s what everyone says. And next year your baby isn’t a baby anymore.
