I am giggling a little bit as I am writing this…I have something to admit here about this shoot.  Here it is: I am not really a dog person.  Not at all.  I never had dogs growing up, and am kinda allergic to them, anyway. So, when this awesome family contacted me to do a photo shoot, specifically to get professional photos of their new puppy, I giggled. I did.  I kinda laughed!  Not at them, of course…..or this ADORABLE puppy.  But at myself!  I really don’t know how to get a dog’s attention…do I whistle? or “yoo-hoo!” or what?  So, I tried whistling, and I felt a bit awkward (as my girls say).

I must say that the outcome looks pretty good!  Whiskey (the puppy) didn’t know that I am not really a dog person, in fact, he looked at me, smiled, gave me a “cute” look, and everything I directed him to do!  Aren’t I a pro???  =)
