The weekend of Samantha’s bat mitzvah started by celebrating Shabbat with family and friends. They hosted about 50 people right at their beautiful home in Hermosa Beach with a meal of charcuterie, bruschetta, breads and dips and salads. Of course, not one party detail was left untouched by the most talented Lili, of Market Events by Lily, who I love working with. Rabbi Toba August and Cantor Lily Blum from Temple Shalom of the South Bay officiated the ceremony, which was filled with singing, positive messages, and joy.
