11th Year! . Family Photographer based in Hermosa Beach, California

It’s been so long since I’ve written anything here, I feel like I need to re-introduce myself! I am Missy, and I am a family photographer based in Hermosa Beach, California. I honestly can’t believe that I’m heading into my 11th year as a professional photographer in the community that I love so much! Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and the surrounding cities are my favorite places to have photo shoots. I’d say that I’m equal parts “beach photographer” and “woodsy photographer”. One might think that when you live at the beach, that every photo session would be on the beach, but not always. I love that we have the variety of beautiful beaches and also woodsy looking areas, too.

Here is a lovely shoot I did with this sweet family in Playa Del Rey, California. I love the colors and textures of the jetty, covered with moss and rocks. I post all the time about my photo sessions in Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach, it’s nice to get away to the variety of beaches that we have here in the South Bay. 

It’s been really fun watching these twins grow the last few years that I have been photographing their family. I’m delighted with how their loving relationship comes through in their family photos. I appreciate when families dedicate the time to document their family with me. I always say that in 10 years, 20 years, even 50 years… you will be so happy that you took the time to do this. I know I do, even in my 11th year! Enjoy!!
